Consider whether a family heirloom, a collectible, or a gently used vehicle could make a powerful gift. Reach out to us before you donate. If we can put your asset to good use, your gift may qualify for a tax deduction equal to its fair market value (or your cost basis). For gifts valued at over $5,000, you will need to obtain a qualified appraisal to claim the deduction.
